Question about 1995 Ford Aerostar
My aerostar had a wierd way of starting the(column) shifter had to be in a certain postion to start but the one time i tried to start it i moved the shifter a little to far and now the handle just sit there you can wiggle it around but nothing moves the little red indicater is moved all the way over to right now is this just in the column area to fix or do i have to go under the vehicle to the tranny or maybe something i cannot handle at all.i hope its just a handle problem
So far i took apart the column mind you i had take half the dash apart to but none the less the tricky part was getting the key lock cylinder off once i did that i exposed the column an there was the problem there is a little wire that is supposed to be connected to the shifter and it had slipped off now the only thing is i have to try and put that back on its kinda tricky to because the wire is really small and its in a small work space if i get it i will follw up thanks anyways
