Question about 1999 Ford Explorer
Changed my fuel filter and my whole fuel line is rotten and i need a new one all the way from the fuel pump to the filter but when i go to auto part stores they cant offer me any help as to the connections and lines that i need. Seeing how it is my only vehicle i cant just take it off and show them and risk breaking it and they dont have what i need. I also cant find the parts i am looking for online so far and dont really know what they are so if anyone knows i would greatly appreciate it
The fuel lines your seeking are a dealer only item. they are made of a hard plastic that can be repaired, but most techs frown on the
procedure. the fuel system can have between 30-70 psi when working properly and can get really high if there is a problem with a regulator or restriction.
do not repair with regular :hose: type fuel line. get the right fix...
