Question about 1992 Ford Explorer
I have a 92 Ford excort. And I am not getting any exhaust coming out. And I am not sure if someone put something in my muffler. Would it be safe to say I can hit it with a hammer, and get what ever is clogging it? Or is there a better idea to do?
As to hitting the muffler with a hammer, if it's that plugged, your not going to make things any better.
Does the engine run? If it does, exhaust has to be coming out from somewhere. If it doesn't , then your right in trying to find whats plugged, but if you pop a hole in the muffler and allows the engine to run, you risk asphixiation of you or the vehicles occupants driving the vehicle around.
