Concentrate on areas of wire that are moving, is it right at plug, at a bend, or what?

Are you getting 12v+ to the switch and a good ground?

Do u hear a crackeling sound? if so stop using it... it needs to have the window regullater assy. replaced. it usually is about 116.00 from advanced auto. that should include the motor assy too.

Driverside power window ,wont go down, replaced switch and motor

your problem will be in the wiring from the motor to the switch
Most break inside the door jamb area inside the rubber boot protecting the wiring.
the door opens and closes so much it will break the wire in due time
remove the boot and inspect which one needs repairing

99 grand prix gt window regulator?

Noises are deceptive at best.

Until you pull the door panel you really can't be sure what it is.

It could be a rusted rail or the window fell off the rail , or, or,o or..you have one of them look and hunt problems.

Most window issues are easily fixed if you have the slightest mechanical apptitude, it won't be that hard.

I hope this helps you some

Thanks for letting FixYa.com...fix ya

Front driverside power window

Remove the door panel, locate power window motor and unplug. With a test light or meter, check for voltage at the plug while pushing window switch. You will see voltage at one wire to ground for up and the other wire to ground for down. If you have voltage at the plug, replace motor. If no voltage, check switch and wiring. Switch is probable cause for no voltage at motor plug.

Power locks and mirrors out. Driver power window out.

Your chevy uses two fuses for the system. The power lock actuators are on the 15 amp fuse inside the truck. The fuse for the switches (locks and mirrors) are under the hood. For 99 to 04 (I think those are the years) there is a TSB on replacing the 3 amp fuse under the hood with a 5 amp fuse because this is a well known problem of having these blow.

Your drivers side window is a different issue. If the rest are working your problem is in the motor or getting power to the motor. The wires that go from the body to the door often crack and break with the opening and closing of the door.

1992 Honda Accord Driverside window moving extemely slow.

It's going to either be your window lift motor, or the switch/switch contacts.

I would recommend taking the switch housing apart and cleaning the contacts, and if that doesn't work, replacing the switch.

I always leave the most expensive part (lift motor) for last.
