Question about 1983 Ford Thunderbird
The "circuit breaker for this vehicle is on the back of the light switch. They get finicky and start blowing after a few minutes on and will reset in a few, but then go off again.
You have to replace the switch.

This could be caused by a lot of different things,,but usually it is the fault of the Headlight Relay.
Try replacing the relay before going further.
