open up the door the door jam will have a thin pice of mettle about 1/4 long comming out of the door there shoud be a sticker next to eat that states child safty lock- locked-unloced........this will be on the inside doorjam about the same highth as the door handel
it is possible that for "piece of mind "the previous owner had the child locks set on permanent.(door knob disconected)so no matter what they do(bless them)the interior door handles are not working (kids always try to get out when your doing silly speeds on the highway....)so that you know they are put back to normal i would suggest you take it into be done.why not leave it as they are????you then have TOTAL control..even drunk teenagers will try and open the doors.(NOT IN MY CAR)
Rear Door Child Safety Locks - Child safetly locks are located on the rear edge of each rear door. To activate the locks, you must insert your car key into the opening and turn to the locked "vertical" position. To disengage the child safety lock, insert your car key and turn to the center position. You can please follow the below link for more information -
