I own a 2001 PT LTD and the same thing happened to me. The traction Control also went off and wont go back on. The ABS and brake lights also stay on. I checked the fluid level and it is up. Then pulled all four wheels and removed all the sensors and cleaned them. All the lines looked fine, next I unplugged the underhood fuse #7 for the ABS ECM and still nothing. Then I disconnected the battery and then re-connected it. Still no good. Last resort will be taking it to a repair shop to have it hooked up to a scanner to try to locate the problem. I hate replacing parts at random and can't find out how to check the wheel sensors and ECM so I guess I'll have to bite the bullit.

I just had the same problem when I ot in my car today the battery was dead, I jumped it to find my break light stuck on. What we found was that the break pedal as it goes up into the dash has a censor button and it was stuck on.

Obviously a time for a brake checkover, but if the weather there is snowy & slushy, then perhaps a trip to a carwash & spraying as best as you can behind the wheels, may clean out some debris that may be making one or more of your sensors trip. Not too sure how experienced you are at these type of repairs, as I suspect one or more of your ABS sensors is dirty or faulty, it may be wise to have them checked for safety sake. Be aware that when light is on,ABS may not work, and could allow one or more wheels to lock up when hitting brakes hard in an emergency stop like situation.

I have 2002 chrysler grand voyager 3.3 litre auto. abs light came on and is gone now , but there is a lot of vibration and rattle when i press brake. What do i do?

Inspect both the front and rear brakes. Including rotors, drums( if equipped in rear), abs sensors and wiring to the sensors, and brake pads/shoes. Also be sure to remove the calipers and look at the brake pads to check for worn out or uneven wear and replace if necessary. Hope this helps

What to do when abs and brake lights stays on on Chrysler voyager 2002

run fault codes for faults in the abs system. check fluid level in the master cyl reservoir. The stability control also use the same wheel sensors as the abs so check the wiring at the wheels.

Brake and ABS warning lights on, trac off on.

You may have a bad abs controller. You need to get the code for the abs light from a shop or auto parts store.
