Question about 2002 Dodge Stratus
We have a 2002 dodge stratus coupe with a 2.4 SOHC about 75000 miles. It started about six months to a year ago stuutering on takeoff and had diagnostics say it was a misfire in cylinder two. Change plugs and drives fine for awhile then change plugs and drives fine for awhile and also changed coil pack twice with plug wires and drove fine for awhile. Two weeks ago I checked plugs and had a little oil on them so i changed valve cover gasket and also rubber cylinders boots under cover and put new plugs and drove fine again. The engine light used to come on each time especially if you raised rpm's a little and it started to stutter but if you drove it easy, eventually light would go off. Now it will not go off and it also stutters at a steady speed sometimes. Getting aggravated and tired of messing with it. Could it be the injector on cylinder two or what do you suggest?????
You can have the engine light checked at auto zone or advance auto but check the cam position sensor
