Question about 1999 GMC Jimmy
The ticking sound that goes on when the signal lights are in use will not go off. The turning signals still work as they should but the sound won't stop ticking. Oddly enough it seems to be connected with the brakes somehow. When I step on the brakes they stop, but then start again when I release the pressure on the brakes.
The turning swich is shorting out in the string colum needs to be fixed as soon as posble could make things a lot more bad'''''' but you can look at and see if their is a relay in the fuse box for the blickers' their is two of them'' one is for that and the other is for your 4 way flasher'' thats your hazrs when you brake down on the hiway they look almost just a like in some models''' and on some they are out under the hood in a box and it will say flashers''''' but turn on your hazers and see if they work fine or not some one could have changed them and put the wrong one in the wrong plase so try that''' i hope this helps let me know''' my name is james - you can e-mail me back at '' firstname.lastname@example.org.
