Question about 2005 Ford Escape

Ford Escape rear wiper doesn't remove anything

I replaced the rear wiper at the Ford dealer but when I got home and tried it the blade isn't making strong enough contact  with the window to clean. It just leaves the snow on the window.

I have the exact same problem with my 2004 Escape. Rear wiper blade no longer makes contact with rear window.

What size is a 2005 Ford escape rear window wiper

I have a 2002 Escape and they're probably the same. It's a 10" wiper.
(I used a 20" wiper refill and cut it in half)

Any parts store will be able to tell you which one you need, for certain.
Refills are getting rare, but they should have the whole wiper blade available.

2005 Escape blade does not conform to contour of window, entire blade does not make contact leaving very small area effectively wiped

Try removing blade and reinstalling. I suspect the clip didn't seat properly. (did the same thing myself recently - duh)

Having trouble removing the rear wiper blade for replacement on my Hyundai 2007 Tucson.

you can only get a replacement wiper blade from a hyundai dealer .because the centre pin is thicker than a normal blade and when you get a replacement all you do it just hold the plastic rear wiper housing and pull the old wiper blade out then push the new on back home and your done

Rear wiper blade

I went to a Honda dealer and bought a replacement wiper blade (rubber part only) for about $6, and the guy in parts came outside and changed it for me. You slip off the rubber blade only from the wiper assembly and then slip in the new blade.
