Question about 1990 Ford F150
Changed a bad water pump. repair went well. was putting it back together, smoke came from 2-3 places under the hood at once, then stopped (key switch was on for the radio to work). It did this while I was standing next to it, not actually doing anything at the time. Had no wires disconnected, nor any tools on top of battery. It just smoked, then quit. Now, it cranks, but no start. Checked all the fuses in the panel under dash, all appear good. Are there any other fuse panels or breakers I need to check? Any ideas on what to check are appreciated.
