Thanks, but there is no headlight relay listed under the cover of the fuse box. I looked at a relay at the parts store and it doesn't look like anything in the fuse box. It appears that it would mount under the hood somewhere because it has a bracket on it. I haven't been able to find it though.

Jerry - I actually had not thought to check the hi beams. I just went and did check and they work. Crazy thing is, after I flicked the high beams on and off, the lo beams came on. They seem to work now. I feel pretty silly! Thanks for your help. And no, we haven't been able to find the owners manual - it's around here somewhere........ Dana

U have checked the under-hood power distribution box as well as the fuse box? Have u pulled the head light switch and pin point tested the terminals?

No high and no low beams ? sounds like you need a new relay . check your relay box under the hood. look under the lid of the box and it will tell you which one is for the headlights.

You have a 40amp fuse powering the key switch. The headlights are on a different 30amp fuse.
Do you have power on both fuses ?

I have a 2005 Ford Freestar SE Minivan and cannot get high beam headlights to work. Have replaced bulbs, fuses are intact. When I switch to highbeams, the headlights go out completely. Low beams work...

AT FUSE TERMINAL #45 TO THE RIGHT OF THE HIGH BEAM RELAY AS YOU ARE LOOKING INTO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THERE IS A 15 AMP FUSE, PULL IT AND SEE IF IT IS BAD. IF IT IS REPLACE IT. THIS IS THE FUSE FOR THE HIGH BEAM RELAY.

Dash and tail lights stopped working on my daughters 1991 toyota celica gt. the fuse has been checked and replaced. it was ok. the headlights were recently changed. is it true the dash and tail lights run...

If the tail lights and the dash lights stopped working and the tail light and the panel lighting fuses are both o.k. and you can find no other blown fuses then the problem is most likely the headlight switch.

Turn on your headlights and check to see if your taillights are working. They act as a fuse to your dashlights, its a safety thing
