Question about 2001 Toyota Corolla

Spark plugs have no spark

Drove the car on a 2hr trip. The next morning went out to go start it. It would not start, checked for fuel problems. There was none. We also grounded the spark plug when checking it.

It could be the coil pack or the cam or crankshaft sensor

one might think that there is a fuse or a relay gone bad or the fuel pump itself has gone the trip .

Engine won't start,has spark

most likely cause os the fuel pump has failed but you will need to test the fuel pressure and check for a feed to the pump first

98 Ford F150 w/4.6l Wont start. Hear fuel pump click. Have pressure on fuel rail. Pulled #1 plug from head and plugged back into wire. Grounded plug and cranked. No spark. Changed wires 4 and 7 four days...

have diagnostic codes checked to see if you have a cam or crank sensor fault. make sure fuel pressure is at the required pressure, just testing to see if you have fuel at the valve is not enough. replace all spark plug wires. if you replaced two then all are just as old and even when they "look good" does not qualify as "they are good". Replace coil pack. start up drive away happy

1997 mpv mini van runs great. While traveling i drove from SC to Atl GA....parked and went into motel for evening...the next morning i had very difficult time getting it re started....Like it was not...

I think you should check your battery and alternator. If they both check good you may have a battery draw, something draining the battery over night.Check your doors make sure they are closing like they should.

Car starts, then doesn't, then does, then doesn't

check the fuel pump relay! It sounds like it is one of your relays. If it was an electrical or sensor problem, the check engine light would be on.

No spark coming from spark plaugs

I would recommend changing the core pack and if it hasn't had a tune up in awhile replace the plugs

My 1997 Dodge Avenger's engine won't start

Try cam and/or crank sensor. If crank to cam timing isn't detected properly it'll crank all day but won't start. I had similar problem on my 2.5L V6 Avenger....drove home fine, no engine light, next morning it cranked, but wouldn't start. The crank sensor was faulty.
