where exactly is the power lost at ? and what point do you have power to ? you won't get any power to ignition if coil is bad ? loose or bad connection to computer ? crank position sensor bad , I need more specific's to help you more.
Head lights on the early models are not fused by a fuse they have a fuse link wire most of the time these things are located close to the battery ,you need to check your main hot wires to see if you have a bad connection close to the battery check the wires that come from the pos+side of battery also on some autos the hot wires are on the starter with the main hot that comes from the battery, so you will need to check there also to see if there is a bad connection.
Fusable links usuall don't have a diagram ,,,, the protect major electrial circuirs or coponants ie Alternator, Glow plugs, Battery, Aug power systems etc and are a serious fuse .60A - 100A normally , located as close to the battery "+" terminal and with heavy single wiring or in the under the hood fusebox (large oversized fuses). When the fusable links blow it's a major short in the wiring/circuitry.....
Hi..your power windows operate through the ignition system and acc modes. Your door lock power source comes straight from the battery. If you have checked your door lock fuse in the fuse panel and it checks okay, then the next step would be to trace down the fusible links leading from the battery. I believe you will find one on the starter solenoid leading to the alternator and 3 more links behind the battery. If you have a voltmeter you should be getting 12 volts on one side of the door switch. If this is the case and the lock does not work, you could have a bad switch. Since you said neither switch works then chances are you aren't getting voltage through one of the fusible links. Hope this helps.

The most common is dirty battery terminals. There is also a master fusible link that is much larger than a normal fuse. Do not rely on visual fuse check. You need to use a test light, and trace first battery +, then cable, then starter, then fuse block, etc. It is a linear search until you don't get power anymore.
