The maintenance service indicator notifies the driver when the next service is due. Approximately one month before the maintenance service is due, the type of maintenance is indicated in the speedometer display. If one large wrench is shown, a minor service (A) is due. Conversely, if two small wrenches are shown, a major service (B) is due. The value shown in the display may reflect the calculated distance (in miles) or time (in days) remaining. When the maintenance service term has been exceeded, this value is preceded by a "-" (minus symbol). this is the many problems with Merc Benz. These guys have their own Coding system so you have to return to them to get it fixed. They sell you the car but they have many 'gotchas' so you are stuck going to them for maintenance. It should be against the law.
try to find a Merc Benz Forum that may know what those codes mean
It means that your car will want service in 25 days. I'm guessing you don't put a lot of miles on your car. The MB Assyst system will request a service every 365 days or 13,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Hello, The Wrench is telling you that your car is due for Service, Simply an oil change and some inspections are due. The 2D means that the service is due in 2 days. Hope that helps, You can go to a Mercedes dealer but they are way over priced, I would recommend finding a local independent Mercedes shops. Usually they are run by Technicians who worked at the dealers anyway. Just FYI.
hi this is the service indicator, it means you have either, 28100miles before next service, or if the wrench is showing, you have gone over your next service by 28100miles...hope this helps
