There is nothing in that deck u can repair or even get parts for, call the Ford dealer and get the phone number of the factory authorized radio repair center near u, send the unit out yourself, don't go through the dealer they will take the bill from the repair center and double it.

hey, that sounds like wiring for sure, if your cd player is working fine and its just your speakers? then yes that would be a wiring problem, theres a bad wire somewhere in the system. either find out yourself where the bad wire is or bring it to someone who know how to repair those types of problems. good luck!

I am having a problem with the CD Player in my 1995 Ford Explorer. The CD acts like it is trying to play, but no sound comes out. It transisitions fine from where it is stored to where it is supposed to...

sounds like the amplifier but it could just be a loose connection if its a 6 cd player under the seat away from the radio if the radio works then its a connection problem as its showing what track and what cd its playing

2002 Ram Radio problem

It sounds like a cold soldered joint internally in the radio. My advice is to buy a nice aftermarket radio with an MP3 CD player. MP3 gives you the option to burn music from your computer. In addition, MP3 CDs will hold over 100 songs per CD.
It MIGHT be a poor connection at the power connector on the rear of the radio. You could try pulling out the radio and cleaning the connection before purchasing a new radio.

Cd player comes up with err message

Oh, i had this problem several times... look, the best answer that i can give you is to buy a new one, there's sony's cd-players that are great, me and my father have. now, if you want to stay with this cd player just insert the cd several times until it will play. but again, you better buy a different one.
