Question about 1994 Suzuki Sidekick

1 Answer

I'm the same person with the squeeking noise in the 94 suzuki sidekick. I was told by my mechanic that my engine is slipping. I thought it was my transmission before I took it to a mechanic. How do you fix a slipping engine? I never heard of that before.

My 1994 Suzuki Sidekick has a oil pan leak. I have the kit to replace it. Could that be why my engine light is on ?

It very well could be your Problem. Low Oil will send a Code to the Computer for the Check Engine Light. It will not take Much for it to come on.

I have a 94 sidekick . my oil light keeps blinking , and my oil is full .

there is a dohickey screwed into the engine block, probably near the oil filter location, called the oil pressure sender. get one at a parts store and replace yours. hopefully that fixes it as if it doesn't it means your engine's internal oil pump is not pumping enough oil. to replace that pump often means taking the engine down. it is a 16 year old vehicle and all mechanical parts eventually fail.

Car 1994 Suzuki Vitara (Sidekick), 3 door, carburetor, petrol.
I need a hose diagram for the carburetor. The person who owned it before made a mess of the system so its not throttling steadily. Hoses are blocked off and I suspect hoses re routed.

Help me please!

1993 suzuki sidekick 4 door has a rough idle. all 6 injectors are fine. problem is worse when engine is cold . Problem is also worse when the engine is warm and the air conditioner is on.

Check or change plugs and wires, and check timing. Aim a timing light at the mark on the crank. If the mark jumps around, your belt has slipped.

It may be the water pump that is making the noise if the noise is constant.
