Still no luck...Can jump it and drive it until I turn ignition off. When I turn ignition on the anti theft alarm comes on and won't let me start it. So off with battery cables then back on then the jumpers cables on and jump it then it will start and can drive until I turn off the van. ie: back to remove battery cables back on jump...............etc.....I cannot find the little booket on the alarm. We moved. Step above factory alarm.

    Thank you for your help...

You can try a couple of things put the key in the drivers door lock manually lock and unlock the door
with it unlocked try starting the car if that doesn't work disconect the battery turn the key on then hook up the battery and try to start it also check your owners manual about the alarm
good luck!!

If you have the factory alarm system, you can put your key into either door and lock and unlock the door, that signals the computer to deativate the alarm. If you have an aftermarket alarm system installed, it will have to be removed and the wiring that the alarm ties into must be restored to factory design.

My battery died and now the van wont start.

I have no idea about the factory alarm resetting itself, but I DO have experience with having someone leave lights on and jumping the battery the wrong way. Unless you are 100% positive this is no the case, make sure it was not fried on the jump. If the cables were crossed, you might have some wires, therefore rendering your on-board computers to ****. =) Good Luck.

Also, contact a dealer via PHONE (so they can not trick you into being charged by looking at your van) in regards to factory alarm.

ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS LOCK AND UNLOCK THE DRIVERS DOOR WITH THE KEY, THIS DEACTIVATES THE FACTORY ALARM SYSTEM, AND YES YOUR VAN DOES HAVE A SECURITY SYSTEM AND A TRANSPONDER KEY, IF THE PROBLEM CONTINUES YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE THE DEALER RECHECK THE WORK THEY DID, THEY HAVE TO PROGRAM THE MODULE FOR YOUR CARS SECURITY CODE, MAYBE THEY DID THAT WRONG, UNTIL THEY RETEST THE BCM THERE IS NO WAY WAY TO KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS HERE, THE BCM CONTROLS THE FACTORY SECURITY SYSTEM ON THIS VAN, SO ASSUME THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE NEW BCM'S PROGRAMMING...

Try Turn your vehicle on, while its on unhook the alarm box from behind the dash. if you attempt to do this without the vehicle on it will not work. an other solution would be to ground the purple and yellow wire on the drivers side door
