After removing the center console, I touched a hot wire to the cars body, after that my power mirrors wouldnt work. No fuses connected to power mirrors. The hot wire I touched to the metal car of the body was coming from the cigarette lighter. So now I dont have power mirrors, all fuses are good. Whats the problem? Relay?

Windows will not work from drivers side master switch or the single door switches lock not working also remote mirrors dont 2001 jeep grand cherokee ltd

First thing to check is the fuses. Look underneath the drivers side steering wheel (to the left) for a covered fuse box. Remove the cover and find the fuse that controls the locks and windows and mirrors (two-three separate fuses) Pull them out "one by one" and see if they are burned out. If they are, replace them with the correct number fuse.If it is not the fuse, the door lock actuator has failed (for the door locks) or the master switch that controls the locks is bad. Go to your local junk yard and find a replacement for cheap

Rear view mirror housing

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

The LCD info display in my 2001 mitsubishi eclipse is not working. What do I need to do to get it working again?

From the Tech Manuals and the schematices, I found that indead they are related. I also found the second fuse box inside on the left hand side of the dash. It fooled me because I was used to finding them under the dash. This one is on the side, and you have to have the door open to see it. Replace the 15Amp fuse for the cigarette lighter and the mirrors and Display. So, I was wrong, and it was a fuse. Hope this helps someone.
