Question about 2005 Chevrolet Impala
Just got done fixing this problem today. your instrument cluster is starting to go bad (the plastic housing holding the gears that control the needles are breaking and jamming the gears). i bought a used one on www.everdrive.com for $177.99 with a 3 year warranty on it. shipping was overnight (VA/NC to NY).

You will have to buy an instrument cluster. You can get a remanufactured one. You will need the number off the back of the old one. This ensures you get the proper one because you can't return it if you get the wrong one. You will have to buy another one.
