Hi! Ive purchased a spare key for my Suzuki Grand Vitara 2005 but cannot some how work out how to do the key coding for it? Can i get some help please? Thnx!

The ignition key should fit in one of the retainers. Once the locking cover is removed, you will have access to a standard lug but..

2004 Grand Vitara. Warming the car this morning, locked it.Came back with remote and a key and the doors would not unlock.Engine was running with the other key in it. Had to have a locksmith break in. Why...


don't have 2 fobs?
it cam with 2,
and the battery must be good.(for buttons to work on fob)
never run any car with only 1 fob or one key.
or get locked out.
are you saying the metal cut key end (pure mechanical ) failed?

my car has a real key with a a transponder inside .
it can open 2 ways, the keyfob buttons, (takes a good battery)
and the key metal end.

get a spare fob and program it.

Hi, i have a Suzuki Grand Vitara 2litre 2001 model, its showing that SECURITY tell tale light on the dash and is refusing to start. can u please assist me??


sounds like it dosent recognize the key you can try and disconect the batt for 10 mins then try that ,if not someone with good diagnostic equipment to reprogram keys

Hi, i'm driwing suzuki Grand Vitara 2.0 year 2007. it has been moving for about 50000 Kilometer and i'm planning to change the timing belt. i'm looking for the code of the timing belt so i could buy it...


All parts stores can get you the right belt with info about your truck. Year, make, model, engine size. Also spring for the complete belt or bearing kit. This is not a do it yourself task.

if this model is all wheel drive,it will have a transfercase. as far as being good on asphalt most models today have traction control features that handle easier on pavement in wet conditions. hope this helps ...please rate ....thanks
