May need to have the kickdown band adjusted. it is applied when the trans goes into second gear and in reverse.

At stop sign, my transmission was shaking.

Read the code, replace the part, No diagnostics done. Check the sensor, check wiring, and check the PCM/TCM. Most likely, you replaced a good part. Your mechanic should have told you if there was a PCM/TCM upgrade.

P0 700 and a po 602

602 is a microprocessor and/or a programming issue with the PCM. 700 is a generic code for a transmission problem. This one could be caused by the 602 code. Basically to fix this, you have to have the PCM reprogrammed first, then if the code comes up again, the PCM has to be replaced and programmed to your truck. Then if you still have a transmission code, it will have to be addressed. Shop shops can do this work. Much cheaper than a dealer.

How to reprogram PCM for chrysler 2012 C300

why?
first tell what you are doing.
replacing a bad PCM
hacking it?
what?
the PCM can only be programmed at the dealer or independents set up to do so (licensed)

The FSM is clear on that, read it.

I replaced pcm

only a service dealer can reprogram the PCM to your keys or your keys to the PCM they need both units connected up to the code programmer to do this.

My 2003 Lincnoln Ls has tranny problems! It's

No reason to replace a PCM behind the glove box

I have the same car, a 2004 V8

I replaced the One & only solenoid pressure control pack on mine

Having owned a trans shop in New Jersey years ago, I find your remarks
rather harsh

If they rebuilt the unit correctly , it should be fine & it should not have failed in 8 years,
if you changed the fluid every 30,000 miles, then what happened & why?

What were you told & why are you not back there?

Were updates done on the trans to correct the original problem
or any mention of a dealer flashing updates into the pcm?

Engine will crank but will not start 2003 pontiac grand am

Had same problem with two different 03 Grand Ams with 3.4 engines. Had to replace and reprogram the PCM on both vehicles. Both are now working fine. The repair is not something even any shop can do. Replacing the PCM is no problem. It is located just above your left foot when sitting in the drivers seat. Reprograming must be done using a Tech II scanner, which very few shops have. It may have to go to the dealer.

2002 Dodge Grand Caravan I just put a master computer on. Is there a way that I can reset it? The engine runs fine so I know it works but it wont shift properly.

Hope you put a PCM in. TCM is in side the PCM. The TCM sometimes needs a brake in period. 200 miles. If not call the dealer to have then flash the PCM with the updates. Around $80 at the dealer. Tell them you want to FLASH to PCM for bump shifting. Any Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge dealer can do this in 1 hour. Thers a Chrysler TSB #2101807 Dated 10-27-07 about Transmission Reprogramming. If the dealer put the PCM take it back tell them about the TSB
