Question about 2005 Pontiac Vibe
I have a Pontiac Vibe 2005 that has a engine light on. We just bought it. Auto Zone says it is P2716 and P0171 which means Pressure Control Solenoid "D" Electrical needs replacing, and the oxygen sensor is defective? We bought it 4 days ago. What does this mean? thanks for your time.
You need to take it to a reputable repair facility. The pressure control solenoid needs to be checked for proper operation. If the solenoid is operating properly, the PCM (Powertrain Control Module[computer]) will need to be replaced. If you continue to drive the vehicle with this condition the transmission will eventually destroy itself.
