Question about 2005 Nissan Frontier
This nissan has worked fine since i bought it 8 months ago, until about 2 months ago I wrecked it. A car ran into the front passenger side of my truck. [yes i ran a stop sign. it means to stop, not slow down.] Since i got it back from the body shop it has not worked at all (4WD). I did not notice until one day i was hunting and needed my 4wd. when i went to lock it in, it just blinked like it was trying to engage but never did. It will blink on and off all day. but since i have not noticed it 2 months, the body shop will say, it was working when it left. My question is, did they forget to plug something in, or did a sensor fail or what could cause it not to lock in. Its like you are trying to engage at 30 mph and it has to slow down to engage, but i was stopped completly. I bought a hanes manual but cant find out anything. PLEASE HELP. THANKS A MILLION.
Might be your auto locking hubs if you have them .... if not could be an inner passenger wheel hub prob... pull the front right wheel and then poull out your hub and check for damage
