No more worries. The reason I didn't see a way to get it out is because there was no way. I figured that out after the trial and error method. Thanks though!

Open the trunk of the vehicle, either by using the key or by turning the vehicle on and pressing the "open" button on the inside left of the glove box. Next, you will have to peel back the grey felt lining inside of the trunk, closest to the rear of the vehicle. Third you need to locate the three point, tan plastic, bulb fixtures and unscrew them. You will now see the bulb. Remove the thin metal locking device by pulling the curved end around the tan plastic fixture, then pull the bulb out. Replacement bulb is a 3157 tail light bulb. Insert the new bulb, place the 90 degree angle bent end of the thin metyal lock bac on the edge of the fixture, wrap the lock around it until it clicks in place and matches the still un-tampered opposing sides bulb and lock. Screw the fixture back in, replace the grey felt and you're done, repeat for the next side.

89 nissan maxima stalls out and will not run past 2000 rpm

I'm not a mechanic and I know this is an old post but I have the same car and in my research trying to figure out what's wrong with mine I have found in several posts that the MAF Sensor is bad because if it is bad the cars computer will NOT let it go past 2000 rpm's. When I saw that number in your post I KNEW that was the answer.

Hello, I have an 89 ford bronco II with a 2.9

Could be that you have one or more brake lines rotting internally and plugging the line. Check for a soft spot in the brake lines.

Cruise Control is not working

Make sure your brake light are functioning properly. Some CC use the brake light circuit to release. If there is a bad bulb cruise won't work.
