My Dodge Grand Caravan is making a humming noise as you accelerate, while turning left it stops but gets worse while turning right. I replaced the left front wheel hub and no improvement, I need help

if hub bearing replacement did not fix the noise

when noises are on left and right turns
that has CV joints /drive shafts
would say they are the issue
replace both sides

and replace the left hand hub bearing at the same time

Falcon troubleshooting

One or more of your tires are no good.
How to check this is : hard to explain.. but will try.. Rub your hand on top the tire... If you are on the passenger side of car rub them counterclockwise and drivers side clockwise... If the tread is bumpy, it will make that noise... If the treads are smooth, then the tire or tires ar o.k.

it sounds to me like it is your left front wheel bearing. the best way to check this is to raise both wheels and spin them by hand there will be some noise from the pads rubbing the discs but the side with the bearing gone will be noisiest.you can replace just the bearing.I hope you find this helpful

Bought a 2003 Eddie Bauer last week. Problem is that when turning left or right, it makes a grinding, catching up sound when the wheels turn. Garage says it sounds like the rear differentials. Could...

If the vehicle is a four wheel drive then you might want to have the front cv joints inspected to determine if the axles are dry. The cv boot contains grease to lubricate the joints and if the boot is cracked it very well may mean that the joint is dry due to moisture and dirt penetrating the boot. On the other hand, are the tires the right size for the vehicle? Check to see if they are rubbing in the wheel wells.

I just bought an2003 ford explorer 4x4 and i have a loud humming noise coming from the front end tires are brand new it has around 190,000km please help

If the noise is only when the vehicle is moving it sounds lek you have a bad wheel bearing. You can inspect ford move ment or play shaking the tires up and down and left to right while lifted up on hoist or jack. If there is no movement doesn't necesarily mean the bearings are okay, however if there is movement in bearing replace and drive again. Antoher way to determine Which wheel bearing is bad is to drive and turn to the left, if the noise gets louder than it mens the rightside wheel bearung is bad. If you turn to the right and noise gets louder replace driver side front wheel bearing. Also Rub your hands across your tires, does it feel wavy or uneven, you could have cupped tires, I DON'T KNOW HOW NEW THEY are but cupped tires will also make this noise. One way to see if it is the tires is to do a rotate If noise changes at all then you no its a tire causing noise. Hope this helps.

2006 Dodge Gr. Caravan. Loud humming noise upon

Misalignment of the belt, incorrect belt, worn or loose tensioner, Too tight of an adjustment (many service centers do this on purpose so when the belt breaks in it becomes properly adjusted, I do not believe in this philosophy), The belt is actually one long belt called a serpentine belt.....
