Question about 2003 Ford Focus
My cigarette lighter in my 2003 Ford Focus does not work and I think it may be that the fuse is out. I know the size of the fuse is 39, but I need to know where the actual fuse box is to replace it.
It is on drivers side below dash mounted on firewall ,just left of brake pedal. There might be another one under hood, a black square or rectangular shaped box.

The fusebox is behind the glovebox, open it and squeeze the sides together and pull it all the way down.

The location on the fuse diagram is 39 the fuse is 20a.
What I need to know is what happens when the contact for the fuse is gone... I just bought this car and it is a repo so forget about sending it back. Is it hard to replace this???
