You would spray it into the throttle body by removing the rubber hose between the body and the air cleaner box.
Open the throttle plate before you spray.

Sounds like one of your chambers isn't firing. Run your car for a few minutes, shut it off then pull your plugs one at a time and see if one of them is wet. Might just need a new plug.

SOURCE: 1989 Ford F150 power window

you have to disconnect the negative side of the battery so you won't kill it then remove the door panel look for hidden screws behind the arm rest and behind what looks like little doors that you have to use a screw driver to open once that is removed you will find a plastic sheet just cut and peel this back (you can use duct tape to replace it when you are done) also put on gloves because inside the doors there is sharp edges, you then can see the motor and you will need to break off the rivets but you can put the new one on with just a small bolt and nut and use lock tight

SOURCE: 1989 ford f150 w/ 5.0 liter..... engine light on

I would check the oil pressure of the engine. The reason is the timing chain tensioners are run with oil pressrue. I think your timing chain tensioners are leaking down when engine is getting to operating tempature . The oil is thinning down as warms up , as it should to lubercate . I would check compression and do a cylinder leak down test on all the cylinders. Then if the compression is good and the cylinder leak down is good. I would change all the timing components, ( chain, timing gears, timing chain tensioners )

Good Luck , I hope this helps.

SOURCE: 1990 Ford F150 won't start/Sometimes will start

We are having similar problems. My husband replaced the fuel pump, fuel regulator and now it cranks but dies when you give it a lot of gas. He thinks the fuel injectors are stopped up. I read where one guy replaced the computer and fixed it and another one replaced the EEC. Check the relay contact and clean and check all grounding wires.

I have a 1989 Ford f150 drive for about 30 minutes it dies out or stop and want crank for about an hour

I would unplug the gas cap when it stalls; if you hear a hissing sound, change the gas cap, because it builds up a vacuum in the tank.

1989 ford f150 missing

Well it could be an injector, or a valve. But he should have fixed a sticking valve when the head was off.
A basic compression test would show if it is a sticking valve.

1999 f150 4.2 5 speed won't shift. have to start

Have you checked the clutch master cylinder? If it is low on fluid it means you may have a leak possibly at the slave cylinder. Add fluid if needed and see if it improves.

Could be clutch is worn. Check shift fork. Also the throw out bearing should be replaced.

1990 f150 302 new motor has progreesivly go worse when trying to start it takes a wile the fuel pump in both tank are working has new spark plugs at overhaul but no other new ignition parts seems to notbe...

maybe fuel enrichment circuit for cold start is not working. If you spray some starting fluid in the throttle body and it starts right up cold, look for a problem with fuel enrcihment during cold start.

Problem with starting 89 F150 straight drive. Ignition or clutch?

Sit up on the clutch paddle, follow the clutch paddle up under the dash, the rod that goes through the fire wall to the clutch master cylinder, sit around that rod, will have a six pin connector going to it.

1994 F150 2wd 300straight six 5 speed manual changed thermostat and heater core still blowing cold air

sounds like a vaccum leak in the system. start with the control panel by removing from dash and work your way back toward motor. Lines tend to become brittle and break easily.
