CLICK HERE for the owners manual you require.

The instructions can be found on page 78.

There are 2 methods to enable/disable this feature. One through your
dealer and the second with a door lock sequence using the following
instructions:
1. Turn the ignition key to RUN, then press the door UNLOCK control
button 3 times.
2. Turn the ignition key to OFF, then press the door UNLOCK control
button 3 times.
3. Turn the ignition key to RUN, within five seconds press the door
UNLOCK control button 1 time.
The user should receive a horn chirp to indicate the system has been
altered.
Pressing the power door UNLOCK control button again will toggle the
Autolock/Relock states.
² Turn ignition to OFF to exit.

hi there, to the guru of this post i dont see any changes by doing these instructions can you tell me what the last command means?

Pressing the power door UNLOCK control button again will toggle the
Autolock/Relock states. ( will this bring it back to manufactory default?)

² Turn ignition to OFF to exit....? does the 2 mean anything or its just a character?

When I close all doors on my 2001 Dodge Durango Quad cab they all lock all by themselves within a minute It has a key fob for locking and unlocking doors and I've changed batteries.

check the automatic door locking module
it is supposed to lock the doors after a certain road speed is reached so if it is happening immediately then it is faulty
if you unlock the doors but do not open at least one with in a set time 1 minute --- the module will relock the doors

When I put it in park, why do ALL doors unlock?

It is difficult to understand what your problem is
when you move the car and it reaches a certain speed the doors lock and stay locked until the speed falls below that point
If you are in the car to put it in park, it is expected that the doors would unlock to let people out of the car
so why would you want to reprogram the system to keep the doors locked so people could not exit he vehicle
as it is still under warranty and the reverse of what you are saying is actually what is happening then it is up to a service dealer to fix the fault and any thing that you do will void the warranty of the vehicle

My epc light when on my emergency parking button is flashing yellow and my car won't start

When the anti theft system was created, the dealers forgot to tell the new car buyers about how much the fob matters to the vehicle, without it,owners are stuck, your anti theft device is activated, you need to lock and unlock your doors a couple times with the key fob,not the key,and then you need to put the key in the ignition and start it,if you dont have your key fob, call your car dealer to get a new one, they are programmed for each car only, you cannot bypass it.if you lost your fob or never had it,whatever, you need to have the exact fob that came with that car from the factory, the key and fob have a chip in them that only go to that certain car,if you do not have it,then you need to buy a new one from the dealer or ebay and then you need to contact your dealer about programming the fob to your car,you might not have to have it towed if they have the documents from the car,the only other way is to get a junk car, with the steering column, key, fob and all computer boxes and door locks and switch them,i just did that with a 98 dodge dakota, and it works.

How to get doors to lock after shifting to drive.on 1999 deville

That may be an optional function. You may have to reprogram that option. Some doors lock when the car is put in "Drive" others when the car exceeds a certain speed ...and you may have the option on the Caddy to do either or ...not have the locks do anything.

How, exactly, you do it on your Cad I don't know. Check the owners manual if you have it. Here's a downloadable .pdf for the manual:

Check out some Caddy-specific forums...yours is not the only car with this problem. A quick Google search hopefully to get you pointed in the right direction:

Central locking cycling intermitantly when driving

There is probably an intermittent short in the switch that unlocks the doors. Maybe something go spilled on the button that unlocks the doors. The doors automatically lock after the car reaches a certain speed, but the unlock button may unlock them when you go over a bump or lean on the area around the switch.

I have a problem with car door locks locking and unlocking while I am driving on a 2005 Chevorlet Cobalt

does it happen at miscellaneous times, or is it at specific times, i.e., when you hit a certain speed, etc? If it's intermittent, then you may need to replace or clean the switch for the door locks. If it's at a certain speed, then most Chevrolet cars and trucks past about 1998 or so will have an automatic locking device that keeps kids from escaping while the car's in motion. They can be programmed to actuate at different times, so you may want to look at your owner's manual to see how to set yours, if you feel that it could be this.
