Question about 2007 Nissan Maxima 3.5 Sl Sedan

2 Answers

Electrical Problem For two days in a row, my 2007 Nissan Maxima (w/ 24,500 miles) head lights, tail lights, directional signals, and wiper settings on low and median do not work (the high setting works as well as the window washer) for about an hour. Then all of a sudden they all work properly. I have turned the car on and off numerous times as well as "jiggled" the ignition switch, the washer switch and the light switch to no avail. The dealer does not know what is causing the problem, as everything is working when I bring it in. Any suggestions? Thanks, Terry.Burns@lnf.com

For two weeks now the doors on my 2007 Maxima do not lock automatically after I start my car and in drive. When I exit and turn off the car it also does not lock unless I lock it with the remote.
My driver electronic seat does not move even after I set it repeatedly, and today my check engine light came on and stayed on, my cvt light comes on periodically.
I had my 30,000 service done by Nissan three weeks ago.

This is defiantly an electrical problem. I sense that most of it has to do with bad wiring in your steering column. If you have had a aftermarket installation done that deals with the stereo system, this will also cause these problems if it was not installed correctly. the worst scenario would be that this car is simply a lemon. hopefully not. its quite young to have these issues.

Need to replace tail light bulb 2007 maxima

You can get access to the light bulbs through the trunk. Go by the bad light and pull the carpet back. You will see the bolts/wingnuts there. Take them out and the light assembly should come out, and you can change the bulb from there.

2000 Nissan Maxima. Headlights work but tail lights won't come on. How do you fix the wiring of this?I have changed the bulbs and nothing. The brake, reverse, and turn signal lights work, so the bulbs...

tail lights work on a different filament than the rest of the lights you mentioned, it is possible both bulbs are burned out for that filament. if not, check the fuses as the tail light circuit in some cars is on a seperate fuse. the remaining possibility could be bad socket contacts.

2004 maxima tail lights wont come on

I had the same problem with my 04 maxima if you check under the plastic by your windshield wiper fluid you will find another fuse box and there you will find the fuse for the back tail lights

How do change the tail light on a 2007 nissan maxima sedan

I think it is the same as a '04 maxima. Open the trunk, from the inside remove the side trunk liner (by removing the plastic tabs the liner can be pulled back). Once the liner is pulled back you will need to remove two nuts which secure the tail light in place. Once the two nuts are removed you can start pulling the whole tail light assembly out. There are two other tabs that secure the tail light in place which may give you some resistance but the light should come out without too much force once the two nuts are removed.
Once the tail light is out you can change whatever bulbs you need to.

Tail lights on 2004 nissan maxima out.

hey i just fixed mine with the same exact problem, look, all you have to do is open your 3rd fuse box which is next to your washing fluid on the passenger´s side under the hood, for that you need to remove the cover wich is pretty easy (5 staples all you need is a thin flat screw driver to lift the center of the staple and then the whole staple) then you take off the cover and then you open the fuse cover, you are looking for the TAILLIGHT fuse wich is the first on the upper row from right to left if you are standing on the passenger side looking towards the drivers side (you can also look for that fuse in the fuse box cover diagram) remembre is a 15A fuse, replace it, jaja and thats how you save some dollars. saludos desde guadalajara mexico.
