The one that goes to the distributor doesnt **** unless you rev the engine .. the one that sucks all the time goes to the transmission if its an automatic.. and the Big one that sucks goes to the valve cover or pvc valve. thanks Jerry

My honda civic manual carburator is not properly working. it won't start if you will not step on the gas. what should be the problem? idling is also not balance.

check your fuel filter. and your pump. be sure to give the carb a good bath with crab cleaner to rule out clogged hoses or plugs

Car just quit coming home. new coil new distributor. still no fire from coil . not sure what to try next.

do you have power to the coil ? if so check the igniton control mod. you will need a ohm meter and the specs for the mod. you can get this at your local auto parts store.

Vacuum line schematic 1987 toyota corolla le front wheel drive

It is similar to my rear wheel drive two door.

The main vacuum line from a vacuum source on the intake goes to the multi-hose valve on the top and the distributor vacuum advance. This multi-valve switching valve is the main connection to the other vacuum hoses on mine. Two lines come in from a vacuum source and thre go out to three components according to tempature. On mine the middle one off to side 1)goes to choke opener and switching vacumm valves mounted on the fenders the other middle one 2)second from top goes to another choke opener and EGR Valve and EGRModulator. The bottom hose connection is on when cold 3)and goes to a part on the carburator to help it run better when warming up a AAP valve.

There is a check valve diaprham thing inline to the EGR vlave on the second line from top.

I have another vacuum line on the drivers side of the carburator that has a check vlave inline but larger it goes to the throttle linkage to help slow the closing of the trottle on rapid deceleration.126c338.jpg14b3a33.jpgf95de67.jpg9f023f4.jpga890bd7.jpg5531e92.jpg

1985 camaro that does not crank

Stop jumping all over the place!!! 1. check for spark. If none find out why. Check for proper timing. "basiline" timing at about 8 degrees btc. MSD units are nice when they work, but if no spark, pull it out and get an old style hei setup and stick it in there for a while.(hooks up with one hot lead) 2. If spark is working, check bowl levels on carb (I do this by attaching a syphon hose to fuel inlet and opening port on side of each bowl, adjusting level so fuel does not spill out and is just below level of hole. You checked the it in "straight up"? (cam mark down, crank mark up)
Fuel pressure should not be above 7.5 lbs. in fact, for start up testing I'd lower it a bit to about 5psi. (use a gauge) That way you won't be blowing needle valve off the seat. Unless you have the valves adjusted too tight, there is no reason for it not to start!!!
Good luck!
