Check your coolant and oil, make sure you have plenty of both. it sounds like your cars not starting because it gets overheated.

Engine will not start sometimes when hot. There is no spark. If hot, shut off and restarted soon, it's fine, but if left to sit for 30 or so minutes, nothing happens. When running, it runs perfectly

When a car has been driven and then stopped for some time, the temp rises a lot more then it does while driving, I would say the ignition coil or some censer is faulty, spray the faulty part with a coolant spray if the engine then starts replace that part.

I have 1989 s-10 pickup with 2.5 4cyl. Sometimes it runs fine but sometimes (and now happening more often) it starts bucking/running like fuel or ignition is cutting out intermittently. Sometimes I can rev...

This does happen a lot if the spark plugs are worn out or the type of plug altogether is wrong. The plug might be struggling to keep sparking if it is worn out or the elctrode gap it too wide on the spark plug. Have a look at the car manual to learn more about the spark plug but also Have a look at the ones already in the car and see if they are the right ones recommended in the manual and also check if they look worn out.

I hope this helps you in some way. Good luck!

2000 silverado 5.3 intermittently won't start, sometimes when hot sometimes when cold, start runs fine the times it does start

Most likely your fuel pump is about to go out. When the truck wont start listen around the fuel tank and see if you hear the fuel pump running ( will sound like a small electric motor). If you do not hear it hit the bottom of the tank with your hand and see if it starts running. These go out a lot. FYI If you have to change it yourself it is easier to pick up the bed instead of dropping the fuel tank. Hope this helps.
