Tried it today and none of the windows work from master switch on drivers side except ft passenger window, which went down but will not go back up.

You can't put up the front passenger window with it's own switch ? Did you check the POWER WINDOW RELAY in the instrument panel fuse / relay box ? An you checked POWER fuse 30amp same fuse box ? All window switches have direct power from power window relay !

Please help. 1994 Mercedes E320 power windows are dead.

Under the rear seat cushion on the drivers side is a control module/ relay box that operates all the windows and the sunroof for the car. To lift up the rear seat cushion there is a tab on both sides of the rear seat that you push on while lifting the seat up. Once the seat cushion is out you can find the relay housing on the driver side right near the bend. Start there since everything went out all at once. Wrecking yard is the best place to pick up another one.

2001 Mercedes CL500 Rear Power Window does not work !

When you find which relay controls the rear window, (if it's plastic) put your finger on it and have someone hit the switch, if you feel it click, it might be a regulator on the window or a very dirty window track.
If you can get your head close to the motor you should be able to hear motor, if you do, relay is good, regulator is bad.

The back pasenger electric window of my 2006 dodge ram 3500 deisel wont go up.both the switch on the door and the switch on the driver control door dont work. checked the fuse box but found nothing labeled...

hi, there is a relay for the windows. in the fusebox (s) there should be a relay for each window. these relays do fail (open circuit on switch side). the feed POWER side may be shorted. these circuits are hard to find the fault, but check all the door relays. the motor can stick and put heavy current to blow the fuse, if you leave the engine OFF and put the ignition ON press the other window and listen for this relay noise. a click can be heard to pinpoint the location of other relays. once you find these switch relays to determin if these are working and use this to put the rear window back up. gerry

What fuse do i need for the electric windows in a 2006 pontiac grand prix

It's not a Fuse you need, it's a 30 Amp Breaker type Relay. More or less it looks like a fuse where it plugs in, but looking at the fuse box, it's an aluminum looking thing the same length as your fuse and about 3/16" thick. It's main purpose is should the 30 Amps be exceeded, it will go open-circuit, until it cools down, then will work fine. On the back of your fuse door, look for your power windows "fuse/relay" and see if someone inadvertently placed a regular green 30 Amp fuse in it's place. This relay may also control things such as power seats, rear window defrosters and things of this order. If all else fails, just call a Dealerships Parts Department and they'll be glad to tell you whether you take a standard 30 Amp relay and the exact location of where it lives. (smile)

Hope this Helps,

Rear Window, Rear Defrost stopped working

I suspect that the back door ECU (the relay box that you speak of) is bad.
Unfortunatly common.
Here is how you check:
With the Key On, you should have 12 VDC in the Solid YELLOW wire going into the box.
Also, You should have power in the solid BLUE wire going into the box.
Operating the switches should transmit power to the BLUE with RED trace, and the VIOLEt with WHITE tracer.
If you have the right power as described abobe, the box is indeed bad. This is a dealer item only, cannot buy one at the local parts store. Sorry. Hope this helps.
