SOURCE: 2005 Toyota Corolla - car smells after rains

You need to check the gaskets around the doors, look for wet spots before you get in the car, or you can take a water hose and put water on top of it to find the leak. I would however change the cabin filter first.
Sometimes the cabin filter can s,mell that way when there is more moisture in the air, if you can't see any wet spots in the car you are going to have to look for the leak.
The smell you speak of is almost always the cabin filter. hope this helps.

SOURCE: i have and exhaust leak wat is the cheapest way to

This will depend on the leak that you have. A larger leak would have a larger cost of course and if it is just on the joint you may just need to clean it out and put seals provided that there is no damage. To fix the damage, a cheap fix is having metal over a hole and welded.

Loud exhaust

Hi
Loud noise from Exhaust means your exhaust system is leaking.
this will make the performance poor on your vehicle.

Get that check and replaced.

2004 toyota corolla, theres a ticking noise when I accelerate, comes from engine area

Exhaust leaks, like a manifold or loose plug will sound like a tick inside the car,if it is louder when it is cold, suspect something more serious ,like a piston.
if the tick only happens when u turn,it's an axle joint.

Have loud noise from engine, gets louder w/more rpms.it is an automatic,60k miles.no exhaust or muffler problem.

Serpentine belt tightener pulley bearing was bad, made a loud noise. I replaced the pulley (jobber part) and the noise level was reduced enough to notice the waterpump was also making a noise ... more revs = louder noise. I am now replacing the water pump. (approx 60k Miles too).

I have an engine light on to my Toyota Corolla 2003; diagnosed by the autozone OBD11 SCANNER P420. I replaced the oxygen sensor and the light deleted. After driving the car for 30 miles the light came on...

Hi

The trouble areas associated with this code are as follows:
1)Gas leakage on exhaust system
2)Oxygen sensor
3)Heated oxygen sensor
4)Three–way catalytic converter

The idea is to check for exhaust leaks first then the front sensor and rear sensor. If these all check out then the cat needs to be replaced.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using fixYa

have the exhaust checked for leaks, a hole in the exhaust or broken pipe will cause a loud engine sound, also is the check engine light on?

Still loud

Have you checked the flex pipe section under the engine, and the gasket between the manifold and cat/flex pipe section? Those are two places they usually start to leak from either a blown gasket, or the flex section rusts out under the protective covering.

2004 Cadillac Escalade knocking noise

Make sure oil level is adequate.

Also, this could be an exhaust leak that is being closed as the manifold and/or block heats up.
