Question about 2004 Land Rover FreeLander
Just had break bulbs changed but now when i press the break my side lights and dash lights also come on if i take out 1 brake bulb everything is fine. WOTS GOING ON!!!!!!!! help please people.,
Hello zeeko1 , over here when that happens its because someone put a single element bulb where a double element bulb goes , now this bulb you take out to fix the problem , look at the bottom of the socket see if it has 1 contact point , then look into the hole where the bulb goes , i bet you see 2 contacts , this single contact bulb is shorting out into the other circuit back feeding voltage to other circuit . cheers mate !
Thanks for using FIX YA !

Rick Byrds answer Would have given you the same symptoms but I found that my bulbs were correct but, side light element had shorted to brake light element inside the the the stop and tail light bulb.
Changed bulb wallah job done.
Thank you Rick for pointing me in the right direction
