I have just bought a second hand hyundai elantra and i'm experiencing the same problem, i dont know if this is a common prob on hyundai cars, on my car there is a little pump on the bottom of the water resevoir, it is situated behind the drivers side headlight. The pump has 2 outlets ie 1 pipe going to the rear washer and 1 going to the front washer. On my car i swapped these 2 pipes around to get my front washer to work. The prob is either in the pump or the wiper switch in the car. Hope this helps.

Rear window washer does not spray fluid. When I push the rear window washer button, the front washer/wipers turn on. The rear wipers work normally.

I have the same problem with my 2000 chevy blazer as skornec had posted. I kinda already figured the hose or spray nozzle was plugged. But the problem with checking those items is that I don't know where the hose is located to the back wiper. And the only thing that could be I see that could be the spray nozzle doesn't even have holes that washer fluid could spray from. So basically I just would LOVE if someone could please inform this lame brain of where to find the spray nozzle on the rear window and where in the interior of my blazer does the washer hose run.

98 Hyundai Accent, front windscreen wash not spraying Pump runnin

If you dont have access to compressed air and a blow gun , to blow down the jets, then use a needle and try to clear the jets, and then try the wshers, you will have to adjust the jets after. If you still have nothing, or it is very weak, then remove the pipe and blow down it , also with the pipe off, try the washer pump to see if it is pumping strongly, because, although the pump is working/making a noise, it may be too weak, in which case you will need to replace the pump.
Hope this helps

Peugeot 1007 windscreen washer water jets

Hi

It is usually the fuse. This blows very easily.(eg Ifyou operaten the washers when the fluid is frozen or partially frozen)

Look in your handbook. And in the fuse box in the engine compartment

Rear wiper does not work at all. front wipers work fine. rear washer works

1. check the fuse to the rear wiper motor
2. check for power to rear wiper motor at the motor (power wire going in to the wiper motor with rear wiper switch on)
If you have good fuses & have power going in to the rear wiper motor...
3. Pull old rear wiper motor and install a new rear wiper motor.
Thank you please drive thru......
