Dont want to start just goes onononon dont start

My 2000 jeep started doing this and found it was the driver door wiring , it goes used a lot and the wiring goes bad , also stereo speakers on the same line started to go bad. I just removed the fuse to the power lock and all is ok. Just dont have power locks anymore unless you want to pay $$$ to fix it or you can fix it yourself. Mine started to unlock and re-lock, something you dont want......hope this helped a little.

When you say cranking engine is it strong spin? or slow? sounds like battery could be getting weak ? possible ?

shutting down the motor is a safty feature so the motor doe not get blown.If the van is telling you what it needs why dont you quit driveing it and fix it,You say;goes off dont know what else to do?
Change oil pump sending unit,That what it is screaming at you to do,

Ignition is likely but are you sure that your clicking is through the speakers and not a bad relay?

You may not be dealing with the anti theft, just the basic no start condition the light flashes then goes out,if this was alarm it will keep flashing,you may be dealing with no start from no fuel ,to no spark. Here what you can eliminate,turn the vehicle on you should hear the fuel pump go on.If you dont,then your dealing with a fuel problem. For spark remove one sparkplug at the coil leave a 1/4 air gap and crank the engine if you dont have spark your dealing with a spark problem.

your heater plugs one or two might be faulty
dont try to start it when heater light goes out wait for 20 or 30 seconds more and then try start .reason for this is the heater plugs are still heating after light goes out and therefore more heat for cold start goodluck

i hav same problem chaged battery noticed battery holder was loose so i soldered it very carefully everything works fine xcept remote start alarm just goes off like when you push the panic button not sure what happened dont think i shorted out the circuit board in the fob if engine light is on this car wont start via remote these remotes must b progamed by dealer or pro shop prob using what they call a tech II computer to remote start you hav to press lock button 1st even if car is already locked i figured this out pess and hold lock button then press start alarm dont ring and the car starts.

As far as the gas gauge level goes, it sounds to me like it could be the float ball system that is inside of the gas tank, which is connected to the fuel pump.I dont think your guage in the dash is broke, but i could be wrong. Sounds like something in the fuel pump area

Did you have the key programmed to the vehicle? If not you will need to have another key (2 keys) and have them programmed by a ford dealer. Good Luck

if you over charge it it will do exactly what you describe when you start the compressor the pressure goes up up up to a point the sensor on the line cut out the compressor pressure goes down start over again if you dont have gauge to see the pressure start everything remove some gas untill you see the compressor stsrting if compressor stay on its enought thanks pierre
