Question about Cars & Trucks
I need to replace my water temp sensor onn my 1984 gmc sierra classic. it has a 4.3L V6 any idea where it is???
The temp sensor for the gauge and for the computer should both be near the water outlet for the upper radiator hose.
They have different wiring harness plugs.

the encoder motor sensor is inside the encoder motor. the encoder is located at the transfer case. Remove the encoder and by part number 88962315 this is the sensor. you will have to retime the motor after
hope this helps
