Question about Cars & Trucks
I check the starter and generator but both are fine. I took battery to autozone and they fully charged it. I took it home and connected it, but when i opened the door, there was no chiming or any effect when i turn the key. What could be the problem?
This sounds like a fuse. If the fuses all check out repost and we will go from there.

there is not an inline fuse to starter, but if there is a bad ground to engine the starter will not turn over eather. more likely tap the starter with a hammer while trying to start the car to see if the arbuature is stuck in. or pull it compleetly and take it to auto zone to have them test it.

the ignition maybe bad are the car is not all the way in park also check the battery to make sure it has a good charge and it does not have a bad cell in it and the terminals are clean.

Hard call without inspecting it but it could possibly be a fuseable link. I am not familiar with newer models but sounds like a connection issue. If it has fuseable links then one could be bad. Had the exact same problem and I spent $350 on parts and a days labor until I found the link. 20 min later and $5 I fixed it. i was really frustrated but when another vehicle did it, I fixed it quick
