The 7AFE had the A245E
, which was a three-speed with overdrive. The 4AFE got the A131L which was a three-speed, no overdrive.
the a/t is well documented in the fsm
so it fails the stall test, hot or cold?
or does will mean , totally random;.??
the first test, is the line pressure test stated in the FSM
both electric and pure mechical.
ever seen or heard FSM books?go to alldata.com log in and read, tranny chapter for on car tests.
if pressure is low , its a bad tanny.
if elecric shifted, it can be other simple things.
our prizm was made side by side with toyota corolla ,are same
