take the dash assembly off(about 4 screws) and take out the light bulb that illuminates that "check engine" sign.

FIRST OF ALL THERES AN ACTIVE CODE AND AN INACTIVE CODE. HAVE THE RADIO CODE FOR THIS IF YOU HAVE THE STOCK RADIO. DISCONECT THE BATTERY FOR 5 MINS. THEN HOOK IT BACK ON AND THAT SHOULD DO IT IF THE CODE IS NOT ACTIVE, IF ITS CTIVE ITS GONNA LIGHT UP AS SOON AS YOU STARTED OR RUN IT. YOU CAN TRY THOUGH HOPE THIS HELPS YOU..
