Most common causes are low coolant in the radiator, or a blend door problem under the dash.

I have a heating problem with my 2007 Ford Freestyle, the blower works okay but I have to run it on number 4 at full blast for anything to come out and then only cold air blows when the heat is on.

Check your antifreeze level. Never open the radiator when it is hot! always fill through the radiator reservoir. If that is ok, could be a sticky thermostat or a defective temperature sensor.

Hot water in kitchen only froze

good idea to let the cold water to run a bit to stop freezing up . Pity that you didn't do the same with the hot water. There is only hot water in the tank but the water in the hot water pipes will freeze as the heat goes out of the pipes. (Always to have to wait for the hot water to come through when you use the shower or bath.) The water will freeze up right back to the hot water tank

My heater blows hot for a couple minutes then turns cold. After turning it off for a few minutes and back on, it blows hot then goes cold again.

LET YOUR CAR WARM UP FIRST!! or you risk the chance of over heating and casuing engine damage. start your car let it warm up for 5 to ten minutes and then try the heat. also when you start you should NEVER have heat on right away. the heat that you feel comes from the engine. and if the engine is cold and you are trying to heat it up it will put stress on the engine and over heat. ALL cars have to wait for their heat. that's why you see peoples car running in the morning with no one in it. so when they do get in it they have heat. heat will not work until the engine is warm.

2007 Chevy Silverado dual climate control, even if passenger side is not on it blows cold air on passenger side and hot on driver side when in heat mode, also noticed cold air on driver side when A/C is on...

Just had this happen today to my 2007 silverado heat on the right side cold air on the left side. After engine was off 15 minutes and restarted heat was on both sides. I'm guessing a relay failed to open door to allow the heat to flow thus blowing cold air.will monitor diligently for a while.

No heat

I bet its the Heat / AC control unit....the slider that goes from hot to cold is probably broken, I replaced mine 2 times already in my 94 and need another

The slider has a wire that pulls a lever to open from hot to cold, its plastic and breaks inside, its on the top right back corner of it....to get to it you must remove the arm rest top pad only , then the covering for the shift, there are 2 screws in the arm rest to remove shift cover, then you have to remove the facecover for the heat control unit ...

When you remove the shift covering there is a little plastic cover inside with a noch that marks where the shift goes to Park, Drive, Neutral you will see or hear it move just replace it so you know what gear your in when its put back together

2003 doge caravan heat goes on but as i drive

Your thermostat is probably stuck open causing the engine to run cool. One way to check it is to open your radiator when it is cold. Start the vehicle and see if the water is rushing around inside the radiator. If it is you know the thermostat is open. Replace that and you should have plenty of heat.
