Question about 1994 Toyota Pickup
22R that has a slight hesitation when the throttle is opened. Stumbles and slightly bogs down for a second and then runs ok but not like it should. Almost everything is new. Toyota dealor can't find the problem. Local shop was scratching their heads. All systems check OK. Vacuum advance is weak but working. Feels like a bad power valve or accel pump. In the old days we called this problem a "dead spot" in the carb. but this happens at first throttle. Anyone got a clue?
Sounds like a fluttering fuel pump maybe. that's an interesting problem you have there. water in the tank can do this as well. trash ect....
