Question about 1999 Dodge Stratus
I m told i need to add more trans fluid. a few days ago I added it with the car turned off. some spilled and burned off. Since that happened- days later my car shakes harder now than it did when i brought. It only has 98,000 miles on it. No one had said anything about needing a trans failure when i had it inspected.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: excess transmission fluid
The easiest way is to pull the line off and put a rubber hose over the connection. Crank the engine over. The best way is to drop the pan and put a new gasket on it and fill it with 4 quarts of fluid. Look at your dipstick, it will tell you whether the truck needs to be in neutral or park to check the fluid.
