Question about 1991 Mercury Tracer
I am having some problems during start-up when the car is cold in the mornings.Sometimes or all the time I have to crank the key/starter about 3 to 5 times before the car will start! and if I turn the car off for a minute or two during start-up when cold. It needs to wait about two minutes before I can crank-it-up and start it again. This here problem has been the same since I brought the car. Now! I had to replace the:cylinder heads,water-pump,thermostat,timeing belt,ECT,ECT!!! everything to the cooling system!!! and still the same problem! so, I do not think that it is in the newly installed parts to the cooling system. can somebody help me out in this there problem that I am having?

Check basic stuff on this vehicle make sure that your air filter and gas filters are good. If they are at the time when the car FAILS to start check to see if it missing spark at spark plug or gas to injectors. One may be missing from that I can help you more. If gas is missing bad fuel pump relay clogged filter or bad fuel pump. Missing spark may be a bad coil or some other ignition component Good luck and contact if you need more help. thanks for using FIX YA
