Question about 1999 Ford Explorer
I have just bought this 1999 ford explorer and the stereo works just the display wont show,do you know how to fix that? i have been told that it is cheaper to install an aftermarket cd player but if i do will the 6disk changer still work? will the steeringwheel controls still work? please help
If the display is blank you will need to send it to a repair facility. your ford dealer should be able to give you an estimate over the phone, or tell you locally where to take it.
the steering wheel controls will not work with an aftermarket radio. besides if you have a 6-disc player, it is probably a fairly nice audio unit.
i would at least see how much to fix it.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
