SOURCE: "when do i change the cam belt on a peugeot 307 sw diesel"

usually you should do it for peugeot diesel at 122000 miles along with water pump and the tensioner roller that runs under the cambelt too. But to be on the safe side do it at 100000 and save the fortune.
It took me (DIY job) about 6-8 hours as i wanted to save 450 pounds.

SOURCE: 307 sticking door - lock cease - been informed

If all doors are ceased then i can't give you any advice except to call a technician but if its only one door then try this as i've done two years before.
Enter the car from any door and try to unscrew the main screw of door arm rest. Pull the door panel forward with some force and try to locate position of the plastic lock nuts. One or two must be broken in order to create some space between door body and panel. If there is enough space then you can put your hand in (mechanics use some kind of long and thin bendable metal rod) and try to feel and find the door lock mechanism. Take a long notch screw driver and insert it in between the sill hook and door lock from inside the the door body to release the door lock.

I would recommend you to go to a mechanic that would solve your problem in minutes as they have the necessary tools and know exactly how to open a ceased door lock.

Does a weak alternator cause DIC panel to be dim or out?

No. The cause of a dim or dark driver info display is a weak/broken solder connection, usually one or more resistors/rectifiers, on cluster circuit board. An electronics repair service that specializes in cluster repair can usually correct this issue and usually at a reasonable cost compared to replacement cost at you local GM dealership. Good luck. Where locate chassis number peugeot 307 sw

hi friend
The easiest place to find the VIN on your vehicle is right on the lower left corner of your dashboard. You should be able to read the number by looking through your windshield on the driver's side of your car. Check the driver's side door. The VIN might also belocated in the driver's side doorjamb or on the doorpost. I hope these images will help you.

What does service system stability mean on my 2001 Cadillac

This refers to the suspension and steering, you probably have a faulty sensor somewhere.
One of the most common sensors to fail in this system is the steering wheel position sensor.
You need to run a diagnostic check to pull the trouble codes to pinpoint the faulty component.

How to pull the codes.....

Use the 3 switches located to the right (LH drive cars) of the Driver Information Center (DIC) to activate and respond to the OBD prompts on the DIC.

INFO DOWN or INFO UP = manual toggle

Ignition ON, acknowledge any warning messages;.
Press ON/OFF and INFO UP together for 2 to 3 seconds. Everything in front of you lights up for 4 or 5 seconds, then you will see:

Display shows "ALL?"

Answering YES will display "ALL CODES?"
Answering YES will run automatic test sequence and display codes, if any.

"ALL CLEAR CODES?" will display at the end of the automatic test. If you are satisfied you have the information you need, answer YES to clear/erase all error codes.

Answering "ALL?" with INFO DOWN will toggle systems test manually in order.
Answering "ALL?" with INFO UP will toggle system test manually in reverse order.

Press INFO RESET to reset DIC to "ALL?" to start again.

Ignition OFF to exit.

Write down the codes as they appear on the DIC, you may need to run the check again as it tends to scroll through quickly.

Report back here with the codes.

2000 F150 5.4V8, digital display of odometer will go dark, works

I have ran into this problem myself. I had to get a new cluster from the dealer and have them reprogram the old mileage into the new cluster. I have seen this problem a lot in ford.

The digital display on my 2003 Toyotal Matrix is not visible. At times is can be seen dimly, but usually is just dark. Any solutions other than replacing?

it could be your dimmer switch for the dash lights i would have that checked first or replace it and if that don't do it then you will have to replace the dash
