Re: 94 Grand Cherokee wont start need help
There is a fuse box under hood, look in there, under the cover of fuse box will be a list that shows you by corresponding numbers, to fuses in fuse box witch one is for what, it will be the same for the fuse box in the car.

Sounds like the inline fuse popped. It is located in the wire that comes from the alternator to the battery. The alternator is sending out the juice, but it can't make it to the battery. I sincerely hope that this gets you on the road again. Best wishes and God Bless.
Find and pull the fuse. Even aftermarket units have a fuse somewhere. You will need a new battery after you find the problem as starting batteries do not tolerate going flat too many times. They are not designed for it.
does it turn over? if it clicks and then stops really fast, it's your starter. don't worry, if it's the 4.0L it's an easy fix. 3 bolts and a hundred bucks and you'll be on your way. however, if all the interior electronics work, but when you turn the key nothing happens, you need to go through and clean all the electrical grounds and battery connecters. it happened to me (ironically my starter went out too) but that is the general problem. 1st gen grand cherokees are notorious for bad grounds.
