If there is no salvage yard near you, you can check ebay or craigslist for a donor truck.

I need to replace the drivers side door handle cable on my 95 Ford F-150, but I can't get the latch out.

Are the screws to tight to remove? If so, try one of the impact screwdrivers that you hit with a hammer........get one at Harbor Freight for cheap.

Have a 2004 Chevy Silverado need some help. Where is the knock sensor located?

There are two knock sensors on your engine, and they are underneath the intake manifold. You will have to remove the intake to get to the sensors.

Heater only works on passenger side.

there is a motor actuator that moves these doors for hot and cold, two separate ones for either side. the motor unit for drivers side is no good and needs new one. replace this and all will be good.

2000 chevy silverado. is low pressure valve closer to front of truck or closer to cab? does a/c need to be running when i recharge?

it located on the passanger side of the truck near the cab, screwed directly to the accumulator (a large aluminum tank). if your charging on the low side, yes the truck needs to be running.

1995 Chevy k1500 heater problems.

For a 95 Chevy Silverado....I replaced the Blend Door Actuator on the passenger side. Just behind the slide out cup holder. Yo ucan acces easily by removing the ash tray piece and the glove box....Or just the glove box and work like hell to get a socket in a tight place.

There are 2 actuators....one controlling the (Mode and Temp 89018681) and the other the (Air Inlet 89018367). I called the dealer and the parts were 85-125. I got it From TBA Auto (local store) for 39.00. A 20 min job at most.

Removing the heater core from 2000 silverado

When I replaced the heater core on my 95 Suburban, I seem to remember having to disconnect the A/C lines on the firewall for the evaporator. There were also several nuts to remove on the engine firewall side from studs on the heater box that pass thru the firewall. It is definately a lot of work.

Good luck.
