SOURCE: 2001 Corolla Clock does not work. How to remove?

The clock is most likely dead, but can be refurbished at a decent price by www.subaru-clock.com. If you email "Dr.Clock" (as he calls himself) he may be able to assist you with some removal tips. This "dead" clock condition is very common in the Camry, Corolla, Matrix lines.

SOURCE: replaced clock in 1999honda crv but still doesn't work

If it isn't the fuse then it is an internal issue. I can repair it for a very reasonable price. Check out www.autoclockrepair.com

SOURCE: I want to know where the clock fuses are located.

The fuse in postion 32 (15 Amp) in the box under the dash by the steering wheel also powers your cigarette lighter and radio also powers the clock. If only the clock is dead then it is not a fuse issue. This is a very common problem with the 96-05 Corolla clocks. The clocks are very prone to internal failure. I offer a reasonable repair service with a lifetime guarantee, check it out:

There is a bunch of useful info there. Drop me an email if you have questions, thanks!

SOURCE: My cruise control doesn't work??...any

jnjkingbird, It sounds like this problem is the clock spring as I don't believe that the horn and the cruise control would share a fuse. However, they do share a circuit in the clock-spring. You can check for power at each unit (horn and the cruise control) which would confirm this. Check each fuse as well. Good luck with this.

98 GTP, clock not working how to fix

"Not working" covers a lot of ground. Is it dead? is the display incorrect? Do the controls not work? I would spend some time making sure the clock is defective before progressing.
Assuming it is electric (no '98 car should be mechanical, should it?) check the fuse first. It is probably fine, but it is the easiest check you can make. If the fuse is good and the wiring seems intact (mouse hasn't eaten through a wire, etc. - don't laugh, it happens), then the clock itself is probably bad. I would find a replacement in a junk yard that allowed me to take my own parts out. In getting the replacement clock out you will learn how to install it in your vehicle. You could also check your library for a service manual for clues.
Verify your replacement clock works before tearing your dash apart to replace your defective unit. I must say, dashboard work is some of my least favorite repairs. Anyway, install the new one, put your car back together, hide the parts that didn't fit putting it all back, and you should be good to go. Your dealer could also replace the clock I would think, but the $$ might make me think I could live with the problem.

I replaced a non factory stereo with another non factory one, now my clock, remote door control, remote mirrors don't work, basically all accessories electrical can't work. All fuses are ok.

I know you stated that all fuses are ok. However, there is not much of anything else that makes sense. So if you would, please examine the "CIG" fuse located in the fuse block at the lower left of the dash panel. It is a 15 Amp fuse. It is Fuse #1 in the picture below.

2001 Ford taurus #22 fuse (A/C clutch relay PCM keep alive power fuse) blows. Replaced A/C clutch relay....still blows even with A/C off

Remember that when you THINK the AC's off,it's really not.Almost all cars have the AC compressor actuate every time you set the dial to `defrost' or `mix' positions.
On a TAURUS there are only two positions(maybe three)which DON'T kick the AC on.On some cars, that's the 11 o'clock and 2 o'clock positions on the selector.

SO...........the odds are that the compressor magnetic clutch or wiring to it has shorted.Because you really have power going there even when you think you don't. (:^) don-ohio

Have a 2001 camry & the clock & lighter went out. Sounds like a fuse but I don't know where the fuse block is or what the fuse number is or if the problem is even related. ...

Here's a couple of lifts from the toyota forum:-

1) I think the coin box is the one to the left of the steering wheel. Squeeze the sides after opening it if I remember correctly. Should be others under the hood.

2) It was behind the coin box. I found the fuse for the radio, clock and replaced it and all is well.

Where is the fuse box for 1996 toyota camry? There are several fuse boxes. one is on the lower left side of the stearing wheel (by where you pop the hood) and the other two are under the hood, on the drivers side by the battery.

Most cars have a fuse diagram on the inside of the fuse box cover.

I am trying to find part numbers. I have a Hyundai Elantra 2005. I need to know the radio fuse number, roof light fuse number and clock fuse number. All of them went out.

Am not sure whether you have the Hyundai Owners Manual. If you don't I find it very worthwhile. Section 6, the "do it yourself section" lists page 6-34 and 6-35 for fuse descriptions. Also on the cover of the fuse box in the car under the ash tray left of the driver is a pictogram, but in any case according to my manual radio and clock are both listed on the "audio" and is in the inner panel, the 10A at the top right(next to the spare). Don't know about your roof light - hope you don't take offense but assume you checked the switch just didn't get set wrong, but if it isn't solved by fixing that one, the manual lists RoomLP controlling the inside lights, which is in the bottom (shorter) row on the far right. Of course, this might not help but if it does I could possibly scan my owner's manual page and email it if you can't find one.

Hello, I recently bought a 1990 Toyota Celica 4cyl 5spd manual. The clock and cigarette lighter worked when I bought it but days later they both stopped working, I have tried looking at the fuses but...

same thing with mine. except the clock only worked once. i took it out and bought another one out of a junkyard. these cars aren't easy to find in junkyards, mainly because they are invincible, but you could try checking around.
